“Christmas Past vs Christmas Future” is my favorite podcast bit ever. I was smiling ear-to-ear the whole time. I’ve had the same thoughts about fake trees vs real trees… Pros and cons to both, but I have more positive childhood memories with a real tree as a kid. The scent… *sigh* We have a fake tree now and I left it up way past Christmas this year. If we had a real tree I think I’d be more motivated to take it down before March (yep, March).

I have to say The Office had a lot of good Christmas Episodes but season 6 Christmas episode has to be the best out of the bunch. I will always prefer a real tree. Last year Christmas was my first one living with my girlfriend and not my parents. I watered it daily and I bet it could have lasted till February if we wanted but it took up to much room in the little apartment we have. I can’t wait to go shopping for it again. That is always a big thing. Going to the tree farm and picking one out. Last year we got lucky and found one that they cut that day that was the perfect size. But I can’t wait for Christmas this year. I love this podcast. I can’t wait till next month to listen. I am already in the Christmas spirit.

I loved the favorite christmas episodes you mentioned in your list. I am a hug MASH, Friends, and Home Improvement fan and several episodes from just those shows could have made the list.

Always and forever artificial trees. We put ours up the Friday after Thanksgiving and it is good to not have to worry about dry, dying needles through the season. I also love the consistency year to year.

I love the show Tim, keep up the great work.

Again, another awesome episode. Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest, there was never a doubt, real Christmas tree but now that I live in Montana with my family its a fake tree for us (thank Costco). I will agree the biggest downside of the “natural looking” tree is that it doesn’t always come down when it supposed to. Thanks again for the great podcast. I can’t wait for the next I can’t wait for Christmas podcast (wink, see what I did there :))
