  1. Lesley Victorine says:

Oops! At the beginning you say it’s December 25th instead of November 25th. Also, HANSON’S SNOWED IN IS MY FAVORITE CHRISTMAS ALBUM EVER!!! And Jewel’s Joy: A Holiday Collection.

  2. duane says:

Tim, I have to say this is one of my favourite episodes. I also love the other podcasts injecting their thoughts on Die Hard. I actually mentioned to Tis the podcast about getting you in their show to almost about Disney as they love Disney to. I can’t wait till the 1st of December to hear the collaboration episode. I’ll share it in my Merry Christmas NZ Facebook page. Are you going to be the host?

    Cheers Duane.

  3. Duane says:

Oh and I’ve changed my stance on Die Hard. After listening to the ‘Tisthepodcast episode I’m now Yippie Ki Yay.

Also On a side note, have you seen Justice League? I would be interested to know your thoughts.

    Cheers Duane

  4. Gary Hutcherson says:

Have you seen the Direct TV commercial with Santa ? I think it will put this debate to rest.

  5. Jennifer Lundgren says:

Funny that Die Hard was on the Entertainment choices on a recent flight from the US to Sweden. Hubby’s favorite Christmas Movie.

  6. Brian Pierce says:

And now, my closing argument on the whole Die Hard debacle.

Folks, I’ve done everything I can to help you see the facts. I’ve given you “The Linus Test”, I’ve introduced the concept of “Tomato Christmas Flicks”, I’ve asked you to consider which shelf of the video store you would find this movie on, and I’ve pointed out on multiple occasions that the people who insist that Die Hard is a “Christmas Classic” are the same people who seem to hate Christmas – “It’s the only Christmas-like movie I can get my Grinchy friend to watch with me” is a sentiment we see repeated over and over again as a defense for the Christmas Classicness of this film. Yet despite the mountain of evidence I’ve presented, some still argue their own opinions as though they were indesputable FACT… and that’s when it all falls apart. Opinion is GREAT, don’t get me wrong – it is my opinion that Cool Ranch Doritos crushed up and stirred into a pint of Ben & Jerry’s Blueberry Cheesecake Ice Cream is just about the tastiest thing I’ve ever eaten, but would I insist that everyone acknowledge that it as a Classic Desert like Cake or Pie? Well now that’s just silly! My opinion, regardless of how correct I may think it is, has no influence on actual FACT.
But none of that matters. Heck, there are still people who insist Pluto is a planet for gosh sakes!
And so it is that for the last time in 2017 I implore you, vote Yippie-Kie-NAY.

  7. Alicia Byars says:

This was the first episode I’ve listened to of your podcast after adding a ton of Christmas podcasts to my list. If ever we needed a little more Christmas… Needless to say, I loved it! And shared it on my Facebook page. Can’t wait to hear more. Thanks for the laughs and Christmas good vibes.
