What Christmas would be complete without fruitcake?!! And ours is world-famous since 1896. Made in Texas, shipped to the world. Will bake about a million pounds of cake this year.
If you include interviews of this type on your site, let me know. I’d love to share some stories with you and your listeners.

I’d be interested in hearing more of that interview with Patrick Stewart that you played a clip from. Where did you find it? I love hearing people talk about my favorite story, and Stewart has an amazing one man show of the Carol!
Wow Tim, that was an excellent story of how Christmas came back in Victorian times. Dickens would be pleased. So cool you reached the Netherlands. Still miss the boys. And that fruit cake bakery thing sounds interesting.
Hi Tim! Love your show and have been listening to it for awhile. I discovered it last Fall and got caught up on all the episodes within a few months leading up to Christmas 2018. Now, I’m up-to-date and enjoying your new episodes each month. I wanted to highlight a very interesting documentary done a few years ago by the BBC about Christmas on a Victorian farm. I thought it was an appropriate complement to your discussion on Christmas during Dickens’ time. It is aptly called “Victorian Farm Christmas.” Information about the 3-part documentary is available on the BBC’s site at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00p71fz and you can easily find it on YouTube. I was really impressed by it when I first saw it and have watched it again a few times. Anyway, congrats on putting together a wonderfully entertaining, informative and creative episode each month. I always look forward to my commute on the 25th. Keep up the excellent work.
