[…] Listen to this episode of the Can’t Wait for Christmas Podcast Author: Tim Babb Title: CWFC 114 – Remembering Tony Bennett […]
What a splendid tribute to Tony Bennett!!! In 1989 after the World Series Earthquake, Tony came and sang “I Left My Heart…” to all the baseball fans at the game. It was a sweet way to heal. I happen to know of a young boy who also made a very amusing video of that earthquake that also helped people heal. Two great people — one a little more known than the other. Yikes, your Australian accent will rate as well as Dick Van Dyke’s English accent in Mary Poppins.
You did a wonderful job honoring Tony Bennett on the podcast. Mr. Bennett has been a part of our Christmas since I was a child and we have enjoyed all his music over the years.
I listen to the podcast while I am at work with headphones on; so when you broke out your Australian accent I laughed in an enjoyable way. I hope my co-workers didn’t mind my laughter.
Happy Anniversary!
This was a wonderful tribute to Tony Bennett! Great job, Tim! And Happy 8 Years!
