    Tim,
Being a Christmas nut myself, I love the podcast.
One correction for the Grinch segment – the special will celebrate it’s 50th anniversary in 2016. The studio got a jump start with the 50th anniversary copy a year early. The 1957 date referenced in the podcast was the publication of the book.

I want to cast a write-in vote for The Christmas Waltz. For me, the best version is The Carpenters’ from the Christmas Portrait album.

Have a great Christmas. I’m looking forward to a new year of your podcast.
    Brian

My sister was born two weeks before Christmas in 1978 and could fit in her stocking that year. She has fallen victim to “birthday/Christmas” gifts from friends, but we’ve never combined them. There was, however, a birthday/Christmas tradition we had growing up that she didn’t mind: We always went out and bought our Christmas tree on her birthday. That was a fun tradition. Oh and, one last thing: I don’t think anyone knows who Nancy Wilson is.

Late comer, but Lesley, you need to know who Nancy Wilson is!! You gotta love jazz, but you also gotta hear “Guess Who I Saw Today” — killer.

  3. Dean says:

Hooray to Dynelle for dropping an “R rated” bomb!
