OMG!!! Christmas goats???? The things you learn on your podcasts. Alfred Hitchcock wasn’t around was he when the birds took a shot at the poor goat one year? Sounds like the town needs to make it an annual bonfire and sell tickets in the shape of extra long matches (flint provided at the event) previous jailed persons would sell ice water and local bands could provide “hot” music while vendors sold s’more ingredients complete with long two-prong sticks. Dang, this could be a real money maker and tourist attraction. I wish I knew a businessman in Germany. Hey, some of those outtakes were strange, but loved the boys. How about the #1 of the 10 years of your countdowns–just a compilation, no explanations to make us wonder. Another great show.

This was one of my favorite episodes of all time! Normally I listen on my commute to work but since this episode dropped on a Sunday, my whole family listened together in the car on our way to visit my mom. I literally had to pull over because we were all laughing so hard at the demise of each and every goat. Tim, your comedic timing is fantastic! Thanks for giving us a fun (and funny) family memory. May the 2025 Yule Goat live a full and uncombusted life!

Thanks for hilariously unhinged history of the Julbocken. Also, hooray intergenerational outtakes!
