  2. Jennifer Lundgren says:

I wish someone would make a Christmas vid with Livin on a Prayer. That would be Christmas awesome.I LOVE the Leon Day carols. There is also a Children’t musical called The First Leon, I bought the demo CD. It was followed by The Next Noel which I have not Heard. There are Youtube videos of churches that have done the production. I might add that socks with sandals is common in Sweden, even in the summer……….sigh. The radio show should have been Henry and Homer. Both Jennifers are me. Jennifer L aka Jolly O’Leary semi Christmas Facebook page. Toys R US still exists in Sweden at least in catalogue form. As a matter of face alot of churches are adopting Christmas in July. 🙂 More and more since I started checking in 2002 as a Church administrator. Some churches even use Christmas in July for a VBS theme. Great show! Rudolph Day and Leon Day especially are incomplete without you!

  3. Everett S says:

Great episode! This food match up is killing me! any way they can go both go through? Also, this is probably a stupid question but have you tried using shazam to find out who performed the “Disney Christmas Song”?

  4. Art says:

I want to know where I can find that fun Christmas in July song! Where did you find that one?

  5. Jennifer Lundgren says:

Listened to the pocast for the 3rd time. I Think I have a vague memory of that version of Jingle Bells being used in the Disney Movie I’ll Be Home for Christmas with Jonathan Taylor Thomas from Home Improvement. When Jessica Biel and the other guy stop for the night at a German Christmas village. Hope that is not a rabbit trail………..

  6. Kinsey says:

I’ve just recently discovered this podcast and listened to the entire thing in a few weeks. I was actually able to listen to this podcast and cast my vote (even though I still could have for some of the previous competitions that are still open). Thank you for this podcast and for being the reason I hosted my first Leon day celebration this month! I’ve always been very into the Christmas spirit and your podcast has helped me keep those good and loving vibes all year. The ideas for “need a little christmas now” are fantastic and listening to your podcast makes me feel like I’m not the only one feeling Jolly! I was actually wearing Christmas socks while I listened to this, what a great idea for the segment!

    • Jennifer Lundgren says:

The “Need a Little Christmas now” is my favorite segment of the show. I am relistening to all the archives for that feature.

  7. Kinsey says:

Thank you for sharing! It makes me so happy to see other people hype for the season! I fully agree it’s the best!

  8. Nick DiCo says:

Best Christmas podcast Tim! Keep it up!

  9. Marcia Poppins says:

Yikes!! It’s swell to know I’m in such great company for liking your podcast. Still miss the boys. I especially like when I’m disappointed that the show ended–leave ’em wanting more is always good. Definitely need the Muppet’s Christmas Carol song on the air–good stuff. Gonna have to go with stuffing ’cause when I was little stuffing was GROSS. Whatever it is now (especially out of the box) is great, and I can always get mashed potatoes any day. The ghost of Bing Crosby is sounding pretty good. Thanks to my handsome son and his family I have lovely Christmas socks. A turkey bacon croissant with lettuce and cranberry sauce, a thermos of Raspberry ice tea, snickerdoodles, potato chips and a fruit salad (keep that can of whipped cream cold) would make a great picnic. Did I mention I love your show?

    • Jennifer Lundgren says:

Oh that does sound like a Lovely picnic! I was just contemplating our Christmas in July week menu while on the say to work today.

  10. Jennifer Lundgren says:

By the way, I have now purchased Christmas socks for my husband so he can celebrate Christmas in July and subsequent Rudolph Days in style!

  11. Brian Burkey says:

    Very nice episode. I recommend:-)

  12. Joseph Lee says:

Hey that Jingle Bells song can be bought on Amazon but it does not say who sings it.
