Wow, that was a very interesting, informative, and amusing podcast. If that was scripted, you both knew instinctively how to banter while staying on point. Maybe you could do Emmys for Hallmark Christmas categories–I’ve got a ton of ’em & I’m guessing you and Alonso could return. By the way, only because Jimmy Stewart already has an Oscar for Philadelphia Story, I’d give best actor to Michael Caine in A Muppet Christmas Carol. He conversed with those Muppets like they were as fine as professional actors as he definitely is. I particularly liked when Scrooge conversed with the Ghost of Spirit Present and reluctantly assured the Spirit that he had repeated himself. Mr. Caine played a heartless, grim person in the beginning and gradually and fearfully came to realize humanity. Wish we all could do that. I hope your bonus podcast includes the boys.

I actually liked Hallmark movies before they became so formulaic. I like variety……..Michael Caine and Patrick Stewart were two of the best Christmas Carol movies ever. Fanny & Alexander is very popular at Christmas time in Sweden. I LOVE White Christmas………

Thanks for the continuing enjoyable podcast. The Lion in Winter could be on your Xmas movie list. Good movie. Good cast. Best wishes. 🍁🏳️‍🌈🇨🇦🌸😷🎧

And my Oscar goes to…. Tim Allen for the Santa Clause movies! Yes I know this would be poo-pooed by the academy, but the academy and I haven’t seen eye to eye since Saving Private Ryan lost to Shakespeare in Love. Yes, that happened. Tim Allen saved Christmas THREE times! Need I say more? 🙂

Thanks for all you do Tim!

Great podcast with a great guest! Have him back sometime. And if/when you do, since he sat through all those “Christmas Carols” I would like you to ask him a two part Question.
Of all the “Christmas Carol” movies there are:
1 Which was the most faithful.
    2 Which was your favorite
    Join in listeners. For me:
1 The 1971 animated version produced by Chuck Jones with Alistair Sims
    2 The Muppet Christmas Carol.
