WOW!!!!!!! What a great celebration of Dolly Parton and Christmas. From the very beginning of the podcast you were terrific! The 9to5 song was so good! There was so much I knew of Dolly and her giving heart, but even more I didn’t know. I remember during COVID that Dolly invested in the vaccine and I had found out that there was a COVID-12, but I didn’t know it was because she helped the Dr. that helped her. Boy, everything and everyone she touched turned lovely. Great job Tim, I didn’t even miss the boys (well, maybe a little)
Fun episode. The doctor who treated Dolly after her accident is the father of Jad Abumrad, the founder of the podcast Radio Lab. Several years ago he (Chad) produced a very good podcast titled “Dolly Parton’s America” (https://www.wnycstudios.org/podcasts/dolly-partons-america).
Wonderful tribute to Dolly and the Scroogeapalooza poll seems to be going well. 🙂
Just a question…who is this “Jim Barakis” you keep referring to? I’m pretty sure you meant Jim Backus, but since you said it twice, I thought I’d ask. 🙂
Keep up the great pod and I missed the outtakes, but I realize it was a long show!
Be Well
Be Love
And Always Believe!
